A Lean UX Process

In a typical modern company, you’d see each silo designed for maximum efficiency. Our departments may value agility but the interconnections between them are still stuck in an antiquated industrial past. The fault is not with the designers, or the engineers, or even the executives. The problem is the systems we use to build companies. We are still building linear organisations in a world that demands constant change. We are still building silos in a world that demands thorough collaboration. Lean UX introduces new tools and techniques to achieve collaboration, faster delivery, and, most importantly, dramatically better products. We'll run through our Lean UX process showing you how collaboration between cross-functional teams can help us overcome challenges we face when delivering on client projects.

Alan Williams: Experience Design Consultant for IQ Business
“We need to empower our teams to deliver innovation that matters.”
“Our user experiences are inspired by people.”

Alan leads User Experience and Service Design initiatives, including innovation and ideation.  He believes that you have to get into the head of your customers, users and employees in order to understand them and design for them.
