There is an increasing demand for business analysts and system analysts worldwide, and specifically within the South African job market.

The IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis) is the leading international professional association for business and system analysts with 30 000 members across 6 continents. Starting from September 2016, the IIBA is launching a 4 level certification scheme, which the South African chapter started actively promoting among the business analysis practitioner community earlier this year.

We would like the opportunity to share this information with you to close the loop. As a recruitment professional (either internally or independently), you can benefit from objective criteria to position job opportunities correctly and evaluate candidates fairly, thereby empowering you to attract, and potentially retain, the best candidates for your roles.

This information will be applicable to brand new job seekers with no experience (university and academy graduates as well as school leavers), right through to seasoned professionals with 10 year+ experience acting as thought leaders.

We will also share with you how you can easily verify the certification status of applicants yourself, as well as share an internationally published framework for classifying various roles and job titles across the spectrum of business analysis practice.
